HIKOI GARDEN TOURS - landscape garden tours in New Zealand and overseas

HIKOI Garden Tours is a small landscape tourism venture, run by Ian Henderson and Penny Cliffin. We offer inspirational journeys primarily for landscape professionals, overseas and in New Zealand. We focus on gardens, art and architecture in their local context. Landscape and other design professionals should choose HIKOI because of our trip itineraries and also our reputation, academic background and experience. Our trips are designed to provide CPD points required by professional organisations. We research gardens and their contexts thoroughly to make our tours informative, and suitable for CPD. Our tours are affordable, well organised, but not overly prescribed. We think tourism should enhance local communities and not be overly resource hungry. We want you to return home enthusiastic, having a sense of accomplishing a lot, and feeling truly enriched.
