SPCA's Kerikeri Centre and its sister facility, the Kaitaia Centre work hard to ensure that animals in the Far North region are being well cared for and are in good health. To prevent cruelty to our animals, we have two dedicated Animal Welfare Inspectors who look after the vast area we cover – from the Kaihu on the West Coast to Russell on the East Coast and everything North, to the Cape.
