Ruru Rest | Canopy Camping

Ruru Rest is 15 minutes from Turangi in the Central Plateau region. The little red hut is set on a 14-acre olive grove and bush block, halfway down a steep Kanuka covered river terrace. Entering at the rear of the hut, through the covered, outdoor kitchen, you'll find a cosy, timber-lined space, fitted out with a comfortable queen-sized bed and sofa. The interior is simple but stylish, with natural linens in rich colours giving a sense of warmth and comfort. Large double glazed doors open onto the glass-fronted deck.
